Keen to complete a WEX placement or looking for something specific? We work with a fabulous group of local businesses and we may be able to find you the perfect placement for you!

Work experience has been identified by employers as advantageous to being work ready and therefore helpful in finding employment. It also assists with identifying employment pathways for the future, is useful to put on your CV and you may even get a reference from the experience.
Our work experience programme - WEX, is aimed at 15-24 year olds Having launched in July 2019, initially as a school holiday programme, the demand from both businesses and youth has led us to extend the programme and we are now offering placements on an ongoing basis - meaning there are always placements available and always students willing to complete them.
We liaise with local employers to secure a diverse and exciting range of placements and local colleges support us in the vetting and matching of youth to suitable placements. If you are interested in completing a placement with a local employer, please discuss this further with your college.
However, if you are not currently attending a local college this does not disqualify you from applying, simply contact us to discuss this further.
