Joe Shaw
Marketing Coordinator
Meet Joe!
Joe is the creative force behind our content and communications, helping to showcase the incredible opportunities available to rangatahi across the district. After studying journalism at the New Zealand Broadcasting School in Christchurch, Joe was drawn to the role as a chance to use his skills in a way that gives back to the community where he grew up.
Passionate about storytelling and the potential of young people, Joe is excited to contribute to our team and help build campaigns that inspire their next steps into the workforce.
When he’s not working, Joe loves going for a swim at the beach, playing his guitar, or unwinding with a good film.
Hayley Coetzee
WEX Coordinator
Meet Hayley!
Hayley runs the WEX work experience program for Work Ready Kāpiti, guiding rangatahi as they connect with local employers, gain hands-on experience, and explore potential career pathways. She is passionate about helping young people build confidence and discover opportunities that align with their interests and ambitions.
She also helps coordinate events and programmes, making sure everything runs smoothly and provides the best opportunities for young people in the community.
When she’s not behind her computer, Hayley enjoys going for walks with her dog, getting lost in a good book, or spending quality time with her family.
