Rise to the Challenge Award
Work Ready Kāpiti are proud to partner with Leith Consulting to offer a scholarship to the Classic Outward Bound Course in 2026.
This will be presented at our Annual Awards later this year to a youth who, despite significant challenges, has successfully 'risen to the challenge' and persevered with their transition into the workforce.
You are welcome to nominate yourself or nominate someone else. Nominations are open now and will close on 15 September.
Rise to the Challenge Award
The Rise to the Challenge Award is open to anyone on the Kāpiti Coast region aged 15 - 24 years who has risen to the challenge in the past year. This year’s winner will win a scholarship to one of the incredible Outbound Bound courses!
Nomination Criteria
Kāpiti based individual.
Aged 15-24 years old. *
Has overcome a significant challenge.
Has progressed their journey towards transitioning into the workforce in a positive way.
Can pass the Outward Bound screening guidelines. *
Please note all * criterias are Outward Bound criteria that they request in order for the participant to be comfortable completing the course.
